Roger White

Roger L. White, 87, of Rantoul died unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday (April 15, 2024) at home.

Funeral services will be at 11 Monday morning at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul. The Rev. David Ashby will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Rantoul. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. White was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Carlock, a son of Leslie and Nellie White. He married Joan Koch on Jan. 11, 1964. She preceded him in death on Dec. 11, 1993.

He is survived by a son, Dwayne L. White of Rantoul; a stepson, Richard (Betty) Koch of Farmer City; 16 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Jim White of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by two stepsons, his parents, three brothers, three sisters and a great-grandson.

Mr. White was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired as a civil service worker.
